Meet Shara
Clinical Psychotherapist
At White Wolf Psychotherapy, I believe in providing a safe space for my clients to work through their mental health challenges. As an experienced clinical psychotherapist, I am here to support you on your journey to healing. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and fellow Veterans in overcoming trauma-related difficulties utilizing an integrated psychotherapeutic approach. I offer individual, couples and group psychotherapy services customized to fit your unique needs and goals. My approach is client-centered, trauma-focused, neurodiversity affirming, attachment-based, gender affirming, multiculturally humble and intersectional, ensuring that all clients feel seen, heard, and validated.
Clients and I co-create individualized treatment plans, focusing on goal setting while integrating supplemental therapies to fit a client’s specific needs. I labor at assisting a client transmute any distorted beliefs, address self-destructive behaviors, teach emotional regulation skills, sensory processing management, distress tolerance skills, and build self-esteem through self-acceptance.
I believe true healing begins with self-reflection through introspection, self-validation, practicing self-love through self-care, and radical acceptance of the whole of you and your story! - Shara
